Established in 1979, the SEMI Award for North America was created to give recognition to selected individuals and teams for outstanding technical achievements in the semiconductor equipment and materials industry. This year we are expanding the criteria for the SEMI Award to include outstanding achievement in developing new technologies expected to have significant future value for the semiconductor industry.
We'd like to know who you feel is deserving of the SEMI Award for North America. The recepient can either be the originator of a concept, material, process, equipment, factory operation innovation or one who has made significant enhancements or additions to a concept which enabled its successful implementation through a reduction to practice or successful commercialization. Your nomination will be reviewed and selected by the SEMI Award for North America committee. Nominations for the 2012 SEMI Award for North America must be submitted by September 28, 2012 to be considered.
